Restaurant Review: Shin Sei – Utah

shin-sei-ogdenLunch at Shin Sei in Ogden.

Looking for lunch spot in historic Ogden, check out this great Japanese joint. Wonderful vegan and meat lover options. Sushi was veggie. Can’t believe it’s not a volcano, spicy salmon. Check out their $2 Tuesday specials too. The mussel shooters were great!

Restaurant Review: Guru’s Cafe – Utah

gurusWarm weather + outdoor seating + healthy food = great dinner out. Chipotle chicken wrap, Asian salad with tofu, sweet potato fries and spiced hummus with pita and chips. Mmmmm… thank you! Great spot for casual dates, business meetings, and large family parties. Always something for everyone in the crowd.

Restaurant Review: Thailand Restaurant – Utah

thailand-restaurant-draperThailand Restaurant in Draper.

Veggie spicy pad ped, Tom ka, veggie egg rolls? Yes, please! Thai House in Draper was sold and renamed to Thailand Restaurant. Same great location, food is pretty good too. My only gripe was not enough wait staff for busy lunch, otherwise great location for business lunch.

Restaurant Review: Thai Basil – Utah

thai-basil-slcDinner out with new investor friends. Fresh, crisp veggies, flavorful sauces, decent portion sizes. Great variety of veggie, vegan and meat dishes. We enjoyed pineapple curry, pad siew, egg rolls, potstickers, basil tofu stir fry. Quick, nice service. Great spot for business meal, family outings and date nights.

Restaurant Review: Tin Roof Grill – Utah

tin-roof-grill-sandyQuick dinner out to Tin Roof Grill in Sandy UT. Peanut Noodle dish made vegan with no chicken and add extra veggies. Pork & veggie pot stickers with chicken lettuce wrap are great for the meat lover. Eclectic menu sporting #pasta dishes to tapas to Asian fare. I’ve enjoyed their low-key environment good for business meals to date nights.

Restaurant Review: Gingers – Utah

gingers-springvilleLooking for a healthy dinner out and kid friendly? Check out Ginger’s Cafe in Springville. The #vegan nachos are the best I’ve ever had! The falafel wrap and veggie wrap are really good too. For kids, the chik’n nuggets that come with almond milk and lollipop are a hit!

Restaurant Review: Taqueria 27 2 – Utah

taqueria27Always great to connect with friends. When I can share a new restaurant with them is even better. Restaurant review this time: funny servers, lentil with veggies yummy but serving too small, same goes for side of rice. Abundant chips & salsa… with the special hot sauce is spicy-hot-delight! Dessert donuts were ok, but not worth the sugar rush. veggie taco not nearly as good as the pear beet taco last time. Dinner time is much louder than lunch, less conducive to conversation. All-in-all still a great spot for vegan yumminess! I’ll be back again… probably just for lunch.

Restaurant Review: Oasis Cafe – Utah

oasiscafeDinner at Oasis Cafe in SLC. Wonderful vegan, vegetarian and meat eater options. Always great service. Udon tempeh with peanut sauce… Grilled salmon… Mediterranean Salad. Great way to follow-up an event.
