Restaurant Review: Pulp – Sandy, UT

Location: Sandy, Utah
Stars: ⭐⭐⭐⭐ of 5
Mom approved: No. No changing table in the bathroom. 😤

Overall impressions:
Food is tasty, fresh, and loads of healthy options on the menu with both vegan and meat eater choices. I am a bit of a restaurant environment snob and found that this wasn’t the best location for business breakfast meeting – too loud with all the cement and metal decor. But us hippie-yoga-Mormon types still loved the food enough that we’ll be back.

Product Review: Veggie dumplings

veggie-dumplings

Having quick to prep items is helpful for a healthy way to eat. Sometimes I just don’t have time, nor the desire to cook so I make sure to have options on hand. Veggie Dumplings are quick to cook by boiling for few minutes. To reduce calories, don’t pan fry in oil. Just serve hot after boiling with a small scoop of Sambal or Sriracha for a little spicy kick or drizzle of soy sauce. Great side dish or quick snack. Purchase at Asian food markets. In Utah, I found these at Ocean Mart in Sandy.

Restaurant Review: Tin Roof Grill – Utah

tin-roof-grill-sandyQuick dinner out to Tin Roof Grill in Sandy UT. Peanut Noodle dish made vegan with no chicken and add extra veggies. Pork & veggie pot stickers with chicken lettuce wrap are great for the meat lover. Eclectic menu sporting #pasta dishes to tapas to Asian fare. I’ve enjoyed their low-key environment good for business meals to date nights.
